CRST’s Home Solutions - Installs division provides delivery and installation of products that require skilled labor or trade-licensed technicians. From delivery to installation and assembly, demand for these services has grown significantly. Job Summary: Management, analysis, and processing of—and reporting on—insurance and self-insurance programs and claims. Risk management personnel manage the company’s risk by analyzing and purchasing risk transfer products; assessing, investigating, and settling claims to limit. ultimate liability; monitoring and assisting the work of outside legal counsel and third-party claims administrators; and reporting on loss history and trends to safety and operations departments and executive leadership.   

Location: On-site Amherst, NY

Compensation: $16.20-$24.30/hr. A final offer amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Make initial contact with claimants for the nest contact information, details of damage, and expected resolution.

  • Manage claim files and other correspondences.

  • Provide updates/requests via phone and email on the claims being managed.

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders on multiple open claims to ensure quality and turnaround time compliance meets our established expectations for client deadlines, status updates, and decisions.

  • Review all information to determine liability.

  • Prepare approved denials, acceptances, or insurance filings using templates, and transmit them to the claimant, clients and service providers
