CRST’s Flatbed Solutions team offers versatile flatbed trucking services across North America, handling everything from simple to complex transportation needs. With a vast network of agents and owner-operators, one of the largest fleets of side kits, and over 100 field offices, we ensure safe, on-time delivery. Specializing in metal products, construction materials, and oversized freight, we provide real-time tracking and seamless service, from the first mile to the last, backed by cutting-edge technology.

Location: Work From Home – Great talent exists everywhere. With that in mind, we are offering this role in a work-from-home capacity. That means you’ll be tied into the CRST network and resources in the comfort of your own home. Preferred talent will be located in Atlanta, Houston, Nashville, and Charlotte.

Travel Requirements: 40% - Meeting new prospects at least 2x/week across the US.

Compensation: $82,000-$100,000/year Starting Wages + 10% Annual Incentive Plan *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. For roles that are commission or bonus-eligible, your recruiter can share more details regarding the specifics for these positions.

Job Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)

Job Summary: The Senior Agent Development Manager will work from home prospecting, qualifying, and closing new agents/fleet owners through the development of individual pipelines for CRST Capacity Solutions’ network to include all types of equipment (flatbeds, vans, etc.).

Day in the Job Preview: The responsibilities of the Senior Agent Development Manager are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best agents while growing a strong agent pipeline through leveraging various talent resources via the internet, network leads, and referrals. To ensure that you can focus on the front end of the sales cycle, there will be administrative support available to assist in paperwork and the successful onboarding of new agents.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting agents and/or fleet conversions to generate $3.5 million in revenue in the first 12 months and generate incremental growth of $3.8 million in revenue per year following.

  • Network and prospect new agents/fleet owners.

  • Works closely with agents/fleet owners to maintain successful relationships.

Success Looks Like:

  • Finding creative avenues to source new agents.

  • Resilience to push through any objections.

  • Selling the CRST value to agents.

  • Learning the transportation and flatbed industry.

  • Building relationships internal to CRST.

  • Building and fostering external relationships.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications:

  • Prior agent and transportation experience is required. This experience should be current, involving active engagement with agents in the last 12 months.

  • Success working and maintaining an accurate customer relationship management (CRM) system (Hubspot).

  • Demonstrated success with a substantial book of business, amounting to several million dollars.

  • Dynamic interpersonal skills – a persuasive communicator with influence and effectiveness.

  • Collaborative thinker who enjoys brainstorming diverse ideas for group benefit and process optimization.

  • Proactive risk-taker with a resilient and adaptable mindset, motivated by the pursuit of opportunities and promotion.

Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

  • Prior agent and transportation experience is required. This experience should be current, involving active engagement with agents in the last 12 months.
